Hello! A little bit about me…

I’m an easy-going optimist who can’t remember a time when I wasn’t drawn to stop and appreciate a beautiful view, a thoughtfully handcrafted object, or a pleasing arrangement. As a six-year old, my patient dad would lovingly oblige my frequent requests to move heavy bedroom furniture to this corner or that, until - from my youthful vantage - things felt cozy and brought me comfort. As my horizons and experiences grew, I came to realize that the things that draw me in have soul. It’s that awesome interplay between honest simplicity and intriguing depth; between light and dark, rough and smooth, old and new that nature wields so deftly that I now try to bring to the environments in which we live our lives. I’m so grateful that my time-worn habit of seeking that lovely balance now affords me the opportunity to help bring a bit of that uncertain magic into your home.

My design approach mirrors my life: it is layered, textured, colorful and full of appreciation for the natural world as well as traditional and new artisanal handicraft. My practice is rooted in honesty, integrity, and authenticity - all with a good dash of humor.

As we chart our design course, my motivation is to create authentic surroundings laced with both visual and functional moments worthy of stopping to appreciate, lending themselves to your story. Helping you capture beauty (in all its forms) in your every day is my greatest reward.

What the place you call home can and at its best does look like, is warmth, comfort and nourishment for the soul. I would love the opportunity to bring that view to you and yours.
